Carmet Tug Company are looking for an apprentice to join our team on the River Mersey, working onboard our tugs and workboats in conjunction with shore-based learning to gain a National Diploma in Workboat studies.
The apprenticeship will last approximately 2 years and will be a mixture offshore training and shore-based learning. The offshore training will primarily be on the River Mersey, so candidates should be able to travel to/from Eastham daily.
The Company offer suitable apprentice salary packages, which will be discussed at interview.
No previous experience is required however candidates with interest in a career in the tug and workboat industry will be preferred.
Candidates must therefore be willing to study away from home.
Must have right to work in UK.
